Get Active
Get Active is run in conjunction with St. James, St. Albans and MLBC for children in school years 3 to 6. It’s held at St. Albans Church on Mondays from 4.00 to 5.15.
It involves crafts, games, sports, Xbox, pool and a short talk.
It costs £1.00 a session which includes 30p for tuck.
Little Fishes
Little Fishes is run by St. James Church for carers and pre-school children every Thursday morning between 10 - 11:30 am. Meeting over the road at St James Church Centre, it’s a bit different from your run of the mill toddler group because, as well as the chance to play with great toys, engage in craft activities etc., we spend some focus time in the church itself to pause and think about some aspect of God in our lives. It’s a big hit with the carers and children alike.
So, if you’ve got pre-school children and you are around on a Thursday morning, do come and join us. It costs just £1 per family, which covers the cost of refreshments. Family Time
The Family Time course aims to provide parents with tools and advice to help them raise their family in the best possible way. Over five weeks, it seeks to impart life skills and encourage a rhythm of life for families. It is most especially suitable for parents with children under the age of 12.
It covers having a vision for our family; reaching our children’s hearts; our example as parents; love and marriage; communication; faith; values; discipline; and relationships.
Like many of our activities, we run this course with St. James and St. Albans.
