Allsorts Playgroup

Allsorts Playgroup is based at MLBC and provides care for children aged two and a half and upwards on weekday mornings. During term time, the playgroup runs from 9.30 until 12 noon (except Mondays 9.45-12.15).

We provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment where children can develop the necessary skills to fulfil their potential and achieve the important first steps towards independence.

Our aims are:

  • To encourage a child’s physical, intellectual and social development through challenging and stimulating activities
  • To put the child’s needs first
  • To provide a caring and secure environment for children and their parents or carers
  • To improve the understanding of the importance of play
  • To provide a service where children can enjoy themselves

Toddler drop in sessions

These are held on Monday afternoons from 1:30 until 3:15 and there is no need to book in advance. These sessions are for children who are not in playgroup and their parents or carers. Drinks are served at 2:30 and it's a great opportunity for both children and adults to meet others.

Fees

Fees are £7.00 per playgroup session, £2.00 per drop in session.
