Living cells
Living cells are small groups that meeting people's homes to help build relationships, encourage individuals to grow spiritually and to reach out to the local community.
The groups do this by:
- welcoming: making people feel that they belong
- worshipping and praising God
- sharing God's word and learning more about Him
- witness: being prepared to share our faith with the wider community

Synergy
Synergy is a community of small, church-based groups formed from members of five local churches including MLBC.
Cell groups:
- meet on week nights
- believe in the priesthood of all believers. That everyone has something valuable to bring and that we can all learn from one another.
- generally follow a discussion based format and can involved a variety of activities including Bible study, prayer and personal accountability
- groups do not have a leader – they are self directed and autonomous. Each member is asked to play an active role within the group and in its direction
- are committed to reaching out to the wider community through projects and social action days.
- seek to explore what it means to live day by day with Christ as our centre. We aim to disciple, support and equip one another to make a difference in the world around us
